It's funny that whenever I talk to other MMD creators about the way I work on my projects, they often tell that it's the opposite of how THEY do it.
I tend to start my projects with a theme, a mood, an atmosphere - this is my favorite part - I load a model, a stage, I put some assets here and and there to create a small scene with some ray lighting and effects, I build an atmosphere first and only then do I start thinking about what to do in that scene.
The only thing I knew starting this is that I wanted the girls to dance shoeless, so my first prototypes involved onsens, footbaths, house interiors and so on but nothing really excited me visually, I knew I'd spend way too much time on the scene again and it would end up running at negative fps as per usual. So I settled on this very tiny stage, tried a bunch of different lighting setups, day, night and then I as made it darker it immediately reminded of my school days when we'd sneak with girls into some dimly lit room to play truth or dare and have them strip into their underwear.
So from there I spiced it up with the disco lights, some strong white light that jumps around to make it look amateurish and intimate like someone's flashing a phone lamp at them and then I started working on the motion which is something I have a love/hate relationship with. It takes way too much time basically and I know I'm going to fix and change 80% of it as soon as I start looking at my first renders.
But anyway, that's the thought process and the method. I wish I could do more like tell a little story in my videos but by the time I'm done I'm way too tired to bother with that and that's very unexciting to make as well as really hard to pull off without it looking super jank so I'll let the viewer think of their own story for this. This project has been my obsession for the last 15 days or so and I've been putting off playing Clair Obscur just to get this done, so I'll see you later.

あり得ないトラブルから始まる物語
ストーリー
大家の契約ミスから始まった美崎茜と波佐間健との一週間生活は数日が経っていた。
ある日、波佐間は茜の帰りが遅いことに心配をしていた。
電話にも出ないことから波佐間はバイト先まで迎えに行くことにする。
茜は迎えに来てくれたことをうれしく思うと同時にあと数日で生活が終わることに複雑な思いをくのであった。
波佐間は待っている間に飲んだ酒のせいか部屋につくなりテーブルに突っしててしまう。
心配した茜が起こそうとする。
波佐間は茜ののらかさをに感じ、してししてしまう。
帰ったばかりだからお風呂に入らせてしいという茜の訴えに波佐間は我に返るが一緒にお風呂に入ることにするのであった。
今まで通りに波佐間のペースでHなことをされたくない茜はある行動に出るのであった。
